About Giner, Inc.

In 1973, the first handheld cellular phone call was made, and Giner, Inc. was founded. Our goal now, as it was at our founding, is to develop processes, components, subsystems and complete systems utilizing innovative electrochemical and engineering concepts.

In 2000, Giner, Inc. and General Motors created a new joint venture, Giner Electrochemical Systems, LLC (GES), to accelerate the development of fuel cell vehicles, the future of automotive transportation. In 2011 GES merged with Giner, Inc.; work continues with GM on developing materials for automotive fuel cells.
