Internships (Summer 2013)

Giner, Inc. is a world-class research and development firm specializing in the development of proton exchange membrane (PEM) -based electrochemical technologies including fuel cells, electrolyzers, electrochemical sensors, batteries, and capacitors. We are pleased to be offering engineering internship positions for the Summer of 2013.  The intern will dive into hands-on projects developing fuel cells and electrolyzers for NASA applications.  The candidate will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge research in electrochemical technologies which includes materials development, instrumentation, and prototype systems.

A candidate must:

• have experience in planning, analysis and interpretation of laboratory experiments.
• have experience with laboratory instrumentation, data acquisition, and analysis software.
• be a self-starter and problem solver.
• be interested in learning new technologies.
• have good hands-on and analytical skills.
• have good oral and written communication skills.

For this internship we are seeking a sophomore or junior in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering, physics or chemistry. Any engineering major may apply.  Laboratory experience from internships, summer positions and/or coursework is necessary.
